What do you think about the expansion of Christianity in Nepal?

1) I don't like it. We should stop/reverse this expansion without using violence.
2) I don't like it. We should stop/reverse this expansion even if it means using violence.
3) It's ok, if people want to convert on their own free will.
4) It's ok. Hindus should also start converting non Hindus.

I vote 3).

Religion should be a choice for the individual, and should be a private matter, and should be respected by others.

I don't really see this being a problem in Nepal, as Nepal already has a diverse intertwined Hindu-Buddist community. How one wishes to express thier religious beliefs has largely been dictated by either caste (but there can be variations) or typically by family as religion has generally been passed down the generations. There have always been minority religions in Nepal, and no one has ever complained.

It's sad I think that Nepal has reached this stage, where the issue of caste, religion, ethnicity has become it's most fragile in recent history. Whether we like it or not, castes, religion, ethnicity will always exist, and efforts should be made preserve their existence and history in whatever their capacity, at the sametime, allowing the Nepali population to trust, respect and work with one another - whatever our religious beliefs.

My 2p.
