    Please give some suggestion,

    Dear all,

I hold ILR and I'm married, and I am planning to bring my wife here in the UK soon.

I'm a University Student, and do not work at all. I'm fully funded by Student Finance England organisation (All that tution fees and Loans).

I live with my parents, and they are the sponsor for my wife to support for her accomodation and living expenses. (Well, I'm also a sponsor but, my parents are also sponsor and supporter as well, that is only the differences)

So, is that possible to make an application as mentioned above to bring my wife in the uk??

    Or

Do I have to have a job and all that bank balances???

Please post some infos for me, that will be very grateful.

    Thank you so much.

    Samundra.

    Dear Samundra,

Since you are married, I beleive it is your wife's applicaton and be considered independent of your parnets's finance.

However, if you have a job then your wife application could be sucessful but it ought to be carefully completed as accomodation requirement also to be satisfied.

    Your employment is essential.

    Dear Samundra
Mrs Mughal has clarified your issue. Let me add some more to answer your query. I understand that you have obtained ILR and you are married now. You wish to bring your wife in the UK. You are the main sponsor but your parents wish to support her appliccation to join you in the UK,i.e accommodation and maintenance both.

Please note that third party support can not be taken into account and her application will be refused. Threfore you find a job first to show that you can adequately maintain and accommodate to your wife without recourse to public funds. Please do not involve your parents as sponsor. Furthermore, please do not put any funds in your account except your salary. If you could show you have paid rent from your account, the Entry Clearance Officer will not dispute about your rental commitment. In addition please carry out the property inspection report from qualified surveyor to show that property is big enough to accommodate to your wife and is not stautorily overcrowded.

Your wife needs to pass English language requirement.

I believe this clarifies your query.
    Regards
    Raju Thapa

    Re: Please give some suggestion,

But, how do the Students who comes here as a Student Visa bring their partner in the UK?

I know that they show all the bank balances from Nepal.

But, in my case, I'm also a student and why I must have a job to sponsor my wife, though I have my parent to support for my wife's accomodation and living expenses until my study period of time??

And as Raju dai said, do not put any funds into your account except salary, but if i wanna put the funds into my account from my parents, isn't that same as how the international student does to show the bank balances to bring their partner in the UK???

Can we not do same as how international student does to bring their partner in the Uk, though I hold ILR as well?? Does that not make possible??
    Please advice me, thank you.

    Dear Samundra
You have obtained ILR (probably through your parent's status as dependant of ex-Gurkha soldier but unclear from your query) and you are full time student too.
She will be applying for settlement visa due to your immigration status. She cannot apply as dependant of Tier 4 student.
I strongly advsie to follow above route.
    Many Thanks

    Re: Please give some suggestion,

Ok Raju Dai, Thank you for information. I will follow as you told me to do.

But, last enquiry raju dai, Can my parents sponsor my wife for a visit visa as a Daughter-In-Law or not? If luckily we can then, when she comes here as a visit visa, can we switch to settlement visa while she will be here in the UK, without having to go to Nepal back again to reapply??? (by the way, after i get the job as well while my wife will be here, can we apply for settlement visa while my wife will be here in the uk?)

    Sorry to bother you.

    Thank you.
