    HElp......which forms???

    ::
    Hello there,
I am in a dilemma. My aunty who is working in the Uk on a work permit wants to bring her parents and her young child for a visit.
What is the correct form to apply???
She wants to bring her child on a dependent visa and her parents will be accompanying her young child.
What other documents would be advisable to submit as well??
Is it advisable for my aunty's father to show his own bank balance as well??
Of course, my aunty would be sponsoring their stay but just incase to show that her father has a strong bank balance too.

    Kind advise would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Dear Luri,

You could go through the following link for documents your aunt needs to provide to Home Office/Visa Cell.

    http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/vi...tor/documents/

As far as whether Anut's father bank balance helps, I don't think she needs it. After all, visitors are her children.

Hope, it helps. If it doesn't, please wait for Mr. Raju Thapa's reply ;D (He is an expert solicitor)

    Regards,
    Rabin

    Dear all
Reading the contents of your query, you have mixed up the question whether child is coming in the Uk to join his/her mother as a Dependant or a family visitor. You have stated that your aunt wishes to sponsor her parents and child as visitors which falls within the definition of 'family visitor'. In this case they require to fill in VAF1B form.
    http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/.../1903073/VAF1B

You have also stated that she wishes to sponsor her child as a Dependant of work permit holder. Please clarify me whether she obtained the work permit as a Tier 2 (General) under Point Based System or under the old Immigration Rules prior to November 2008.If it is under the PBS then he/she needs to fill in VAF10 http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/.../1903073/vaf10. If she was granted previously a work permit under the old IR, he/she needs to fill in http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/...s/1903073/vaf2. Please double check with local British Embassy/British High Commission which form is appropriate to her child to join in the UK as a Dependant. For her parents, the appropriate form is VAF1B to visit in the UK as family visitors.

In relation to documents, Rabin has linked with the Home Office website. Furthermore she should include following documents for her child:
    - Original birth certificate
    -Marriage certificate
    - Copy of Work permit.
-Evidence that she has leave to remain in the UK as a work permit holder (a certified copy of her passport )
-Recent bank statements or savings books of sponsor
-Evidence of sponsor's employment in the UK which could include payslips, letter from employer, P60 etc
-Evidence of her accommodation, such as a mortgage agreement or valid tenancy agreement ( This property should not be statutorily overcrowded and big enough to accommodate her parents and a child by virtue of Housing Act)

You should also ask her to fill in a sponsorship undertaking form and include this with appropriate application form. By signing the undertaking form, sher confirms that she will be responsible for their living expenses and accommodation during their stay in the UK, and would not rely upon any support from public funds.

As Rabin has rightly stated that her father's bank balance would help.

I believe this clarifies the matter to your aunt. Please correct me if I am wrong to provide accurate information.

Thank you Rabin & Raju dai.
Much much appreciated!! Aunt is under the old work permit system. She has decided to use VAF1B for her child and her parents. Is it compulsory to fill up and submit the Sponsorship Undertaking Form (SU07)??? Is the letter which she typed herself personally stating about the accomodation and expenses not enough??? Plz enlighten on this part.
    Thank you very much

    Dear Luri

Basically the Sponsorship Undertaking Form is required for settlement visa. There is no obligatory for family visitor visa. Rest you have clarified.

    Many Thanks

    Dear Luri

You must be aware that British Embassy does not process any visa applications. They must submit visa applications in persons at the UK Border Agency Application Centres. This has been authorised to VFS Golbal which is official partner of the UK Border Agency. The Address of the UK Visa Application Centre in Nepal is as follows:
    UK Visa Application Centre
    284, Nagpokhari Sadak
    Opp East Royal Palace Gate
    Near Lazimpat,
    Kathmandu, NEPAL

It is recommend that they apply at least three weeks before they intend date of travel to the UK. It is mandatory to submit an application for a UK visa in person, so that the VFS can collect biometrics. It is necessary to produce marriage certificate, birth certificate and proof of relationship to show you are parent of child.
You have clarified about your aunt as she has old document to confirm the relationship. Should you need any further information please let me know.

    Thank you once again, bro!!
Yep, my aunt has the document to prove her relation about her father and her child. But she is just thinking if a nata pramaan needs to be done to show the relation abt her child with her father just to show they are grandchild and grandparents. I dun think that wud be necessary since my aunt already has her old one. Well, just being abit anxious.
Thanks for the add , too.
