        Re: Hats off nepali Raju dai

        Dear lifeinNepal
        I appreciate very much for your tolerance. I had a break for a month and due to hectic pressure on the work I am unable to answer your question in time. Mr. Sushil Singh has confirmed the same. I have tried my best to answer most of the questions in time.

        With regard to your question the Home Office website is very useful and informative. The point based system tool allows you to calculate how many points you have to see that you may be eligible to work in the United Kingdom under the points-based system.When you apply you are awarded points based on your qualifications, previous earnings, United Kingdom experience, age, English language skills, and available maintenance (funds).I understand that you are applying for permission to enter the United Kingdom (known as 'entry clearance') under the highly skilled worker category.

        Please note that today, on 30th June 2008 ,the Home Office has published news on its website that all highly skilled workers wish to come to the United Kingdom will be able to apply for their United Kingdom visa under a new Australian style points-based system.Under the new system, applicants will need to earn points to satisfy the visa service that they can make a positive contribution to the United Kingdom. Points will be awarded for objective criteria such as qualifications, previous earnings, age and United Kingdom experience. Only those with enough points will be able to get a visa.
        Your question remains that what documents are needed for HSMP? In general you should send original documents in order to support your application to the highly skilled worker category (Tier 1 General) under the points-based system to work in the United Kingdom.You must send the original document, not a copy. However, if you fail to send all the documents that the Home Office needs when you make your application, your application may be refused on the grounds that you have sent insufficient evidence, and your fee will not be refunded.
        Please ensure that you must send proof of the following:
        -qualification
        -previous earnings;
        -United Kingdom experience; (if you have one)
        -English language;
        -maintenance (funds); and

        Please read the policy guidance for details of other evidence that the HO may accept.
